SalePilot (salepilot.araosds.com), operated by Arao Software Development Services ("we", "us", "our"), respects your privacy. This Policy explains what information we handle and how. In short: we only process the information you choose to give us or connect, and we use it solely to run the Service for you.

1. Information We Process

We do not buy personal data or collect information about you from outside sources. We only process:

• Account information you provide when you register, such as your name, email address, and a securely hashed password.
• Information you connect or enter, such as social-media access tokens, your page/business details, products, pricing, and content settings you configure ("Your Content").
• Operational data generated by using the Service, such as conversations the Service handles on your connected pages, leads, posts, logs of actions taken, and basic analytics, stored so the Service can function for you.
• Limited technical data needed to operate and secure the Service, such as session cookies and basic request logs.

If you do not provide or connect this information, the Service cannot operate.

2. How We Use It

We use the information only to:

• Provide, operate, secure, and maintain the Service;
• Act on the connected accounts and settings you configure (e.g., replying to inquiries, publishing posts);
• Authenticate you and protect your account;
• Provide support and respond to your requests;
• Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information or Your Content, and we do not use it for advertising to third parties.

3. End-Customer Data

When the Service handles messages or comments from your customers on your connected pages, it processes that data on your behalf and at your direction so it can respond and manage leads for you. You are the controller of your customers' data; you are responsible for having a lawful basis and your own privacy notice for your customers. We act only as a processor for that data.

4. AI Processing

To generate replies and content, message text and relevant business context are processed by AI systems, which may run locally or via third-party AI providers used to operate the Service. We share with such providers only what is needed to produce the output and do not authorize them to use Your Content to train their models where such control is available to us.

5. Service Providers & Platforms

We use trusted infrastructure and third-party platforms (for example, the social-media platforms you connect and hosting/email providers) to deliver the Service. They process information only as needed to provide their service to us and are expected to protect it. We are not responsible for the independent privacy practices of platforms you choose to connect.

6. Cookies

We use a small number of cookies that are strictly necessary to keep you logged in and to operate the Service securely. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

7. Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. After account closure, we may retain data for a reasonable period to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements, then delete or anonymize it.

8. Facebook Data Deletion

SalePilot connects to your Facebook Page through Facebook Login. If a person who has interacted with a connected Page wants the data we stored about that interaction deleted, there are two ways:

• Automatic (via Facebook): When you remove the SalePilot app from your Facebook settings, Facebook notifies us automatically and we delete the data we hold for that person — their lead record, conversation threads, and message history — and issue a confirmation code.
• Manual request: You can request deletion directly by emailing salepilot@araosds.com with the subject "DATA DELETION" and the Facebook Page involved. We process the request and confirm by email.

To check the status of an automatic deletion, visit salepilot.araosds.com/data-deletion and enter the confirmation code Facebook gave you.

9. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including password hashing and access controls. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and the tokens you connect.

10. Your Choices & Rights

You may access or update your account information in your dashboard, disconnect connected accounts at any time, and request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us. Subject to applicable law (including the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information.

11. Children

The Service is for businesses and is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised Policy.

13. Governing Law

This Policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, including the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and its implementing rules.
